Herd Health Assessment

We start with a consultation to review your goats’: vaccination history, current worm and ectoparasite control, nutritional needs and any other concerns you may have.

 

Parasite Check

Parasites are one of the biggest threats to goat health and can lead to diarrhoea, dehydration, weight loss, anaemia, death.

We’ll collect a faecal sample from each goat and perform an in-house flotation to detect the presence and type of worm eggs. Based on the results, we’ll recommend the most effective treatment options tailored to your herd.

 

Hoof Care

Foot health is essential! Regular trimming helps prevent lameness and infections. We’ll assess and trim hooves as needed to maintain strong, sound feet.

 

Blood Testing

We’ll check red cell count and total protein levels – important markers of parasite burden and overall health. These tests are performed in-house using a small blood sample from each goat.

2+ goats: $110 per goat

5+ goats: $88 per goat
